With the new school year in full swing, I am just getting back into my writing. The kids are off learning so I get the house to myself for part of the day. I had a few opportunities to make some more “I Otter Be” illustrations. In fact, I just posted a new one for the coming zombie apocalypse. You can check it out here.
The writing is taking a little longer. If you’re an active reader of my posts, you may remember me writing about The Ruby’s Cell. This young adult adventure has been developing over the past year. A blacksmith is sent on a quest to dispose of a demon and solicits the help of some interesting characters.
There are some days that I just write away and get lost in the story, and other days I stare at the computer and only make a dent in my coffee. Right now I and working on another action scene and making it connect with some foreshadowing that occurred in an earlier chapter. It is getting quite lengthy for my target audience and I may have to make it into two volumes if it can’t be condensed. Time will tell with that process.
So when I am not shuttling around my kids, doing household chores, or helping my aging parents, I enjoy writing and illustrating for my fans.
